Pursuing a Solution

Over the last couple of months I have really been exposed to some eye opening information about health.  I have attended a couple of seminars, been reading some books, information from the Physician's Desk Reference, etc.

The main motivation for me has been this:  I'm tired of filling my prescriptions.  I'm tired of being overweight.  I'm tired of fibromyalgia.  I'm tired of my tenderpoints.

Some times you get sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I have gotten to the point that I am tired of someone else telling me what my condition is.  So, I decided I am doing my own research.  I earned a Master's Degree, so I figured I am capable of unearthing things on my own and drawing my own conclustions.

So, here is what I am going to do.  I am going to post in the blog, as well as write some articles for the main site about what I am finding.  To give you a hint at where I am going with this, I want to share with you some of the information about the pills we take, human physiology, some natural options, and some ways to move on with my life.

I'll be posting more in the next few days.

Linda @ 8:40 am:

I've tried glyco -nurtrients. They help a lot. They can be quite expensive like everything else. If you can afford it and stay consistant it does help. I got mine from Manetech. It's out of Texas. Good Luck. I know it's painful. The most important thing that I find that helps is to keep the stress level down. I've had Fibro Myalgia for years.
Maybe some day they will actually give us a cure instead of just covering up the symtems will pills. Personally I refuse to take them, they just make your brain and body where you can't function.

I just wanted to share with you my experience with Fibro-Myalgia. After almost a year suffering with this horrible condition, my doctor took me off of Zocor (cholesterol medication) it has been 3 months now, and I am pain free. Mine was caused by the medicine. When I saw the commercial on TV, at the end it states if you suffer from severe muscle and/or skeletal pain, this is a severe reaction and consult your physician. Maybe others maybe suffering due to a medication they are on. I was on this med for years without a reaction.
