There have been several different news headlines over the last few days linking Irritable Bowel Syndrome to many different diseases, including our favorite one - fibromyalgia.  For example, in Medpage Today it says:

"When a diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) comes to mind, consider migraine, fibromyalgia, and depression as well."

Other news articles basically state that IBS is a result of someone going through some of these other diseases.  I know I've had issues with IBS that I didn't have when I was younger.  So, I wonder when my fibro symptoms start to lessen if other things will lessen as well… like IBS.
