Well… I am about 10 pounds lighter this year than I was a year ago at this time. That's nice, but it's not really saying much if you know what I mean
So, I decided to really make a change in my life this year. I know (and you know) that the excess weight we carry around only maginifies and increases the symptoms of our fibromyalgia. So, I am going to be 25-40 pounds lighter at this same time next year. At that point, I can't imagine all the muscle pain and stuff being as big of an issue.
So, how am I going to do it? Well, a lady I play cards with on Friday night did exactly what I am wanting to do. She is about 30 pounds lighter than she was a year ago, and she used the information from this ebook and web site: Weight Loss For Women
I know there are many other things. I am using a great lotion on the muscle pain in my legs called Firm (I love it), and I am taking my vitamins and supplements, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to lose weight too.
Let me know what ya think!

I need help. I just past a depressive episode that landed me in a mental ward for 6 days. I know this is old hat to some of you. It has taken over 7yrs. just to get diagnosed. I have alot of pain but my elbose drive me crazy. I had lumbar fusion with pedicle screw 6/05. I now cannot work due to chronic spinal pain. This is my biggest problem. Inactivity has put 100 lbs. on. I am miserable. Does anyone know if the pedicle screws in my lumbar hurt worse due to fibro. I'm in Nash. Tn. Any thoughts are appreciated. Losing weight is difficult due to limited motion in my spine. I feel hopeless most days. I'm on my 3rd disability appeal. Thanks. Rhonda
