- What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a flu-like condition that can drain your energy and sometimes last for years. People previously healthy and full of energy may experience extreme fatigue, weakness and headaches as well as painful joints, muscles and lymph nodes. CFS is a disease characterized by pervasive, chronic, and incapacitating fatigue. As a group, CFS patients have disturbed sleep with frequent arousals and the sense of not having slept upon awakening. (…)

- Living Day to Day with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
CFS, for many people, is the sister disease of fibromyalgia. I do not know the exact figures of those who have Fibro that also have CFS, but I know it is a rather large percentage. My mother has both. I compiled some details on CFS, and living through each day with CFS. I hope you find this beneficial. (…)

It seems that for many, the twin sister of fibromyalgia is chronic fatigue syndrome. I am blessed that I only have to deal with one sister. I know my mother has had to deal with both of these degenerative deseases, and so being a bit familiar with them both, I thought I would provide some basic information on CFS.
